FAQ | Splash In ECO Car Wash
  • Is washing my car at a commercial car wash really better for the environment?
    Yes. In commercial car washes, chemicals are filtered and sent to a water treatment center for cleaning. Washing your car the old fashion way often results in untreated waste water (including soap, oil and sludge) going into the ground and storm sewers that lead into our rivers, lakes and streams. And a driveway wash uses up to three times more water than washing at a commercial car wash!
  • How can I reach Customer Support?
    Splash In Customer Support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. You can submit feedback to us at any time by visiting https://splashin.com/contact and providing your details. We can also be reached by phone at 833-343-1876 or email at customerservice@splashin.com.
  • Do you offer tire shine?
    We offer tire shine products at our express tunnel wash locations with attached retail stores.
  • Can I detail my car onsite at express tunnel wash locations?
    No, there is only a 5-minute vacuum stall usage per customer.
  • Can I purchase more than one membership?
    Yes, each account can have multiple vehicle memberships.
  • How do I add a spouse to my account?
    If it’s on the same credit card just add the vehicle to the existing account. If it’s a separate credit card create a new account.
  • What happens when I forget my login credentials for my account? How do I acquire them?
    Please reset your password online by clicking “Forgot your password?” on the Log In page, or contact customerservice@splashin.com.
  • How do I get my RFID decal if I enroll online?
    Please bring your confirmation email, or provide the phone number tied to your account, to the Splash In Tunnel Car Wash Office and we will assist you.
  • If the RFID antennae don’t read my RFID decal what do I do?
    Hit the cancel button on the ICS auto sentry and it will read it again.
  • What if my RFID decal still doesn’t read?
    Simply hit the cancel button and the antennae will read again. If the screen indicates your membership needs to be renewed, please enter your credit card at the machine or go inside and see the cashier. This can also happen when a customer’s credit card is expired, or they get a new credit card.
  • Can I use my membership for multiple cars?
    Your membership is only applicable to the car that your RFID tag is installed in.
  • How does bad weather impact my membership?
    The beauty of the unlimited plan is if we are open you can wash. If you wash today and it rains at night, just wash again the next day.
  • Can I use cash for my membership?
    Cash memberships are available for purchase onsite, but we require 3 months of prepayment.
  • When will I be charged for my membership?
    Auto billing occurs every month on the members anniversary date.
  • Are Livery vehicles allowed to purchase memberships?
    Please contact customerservice@splashin.com to discuss your circumstances in more detail, some limitations may apply due to size and liability.
  • How do I create a membership account?
    Go to splashin.com and sign up Click “sign up” Select the wash type Click “sign up now” Fill out the form (name, email, password) – There are no password restrictions Click “create account” Follow instructions to add your vehicle information Follow instructions to add your payment information A confirmation email will go to the email provided during account set up Prior to getting your first wash, go to the Clinton Tunnel Splash In retail site to get your RFID sticker affixed to your vehicle
  • How do I remove the “hold” from my account?
    Pull up to the Splash In Payment terminal so the payment terminal may read your RFID. The payment terminal will display a message stating that the payment type associated with your account is on hold and will ask you to renew it Swipe your new payment card to provide new payment information.
  • How do I reset my Password?
    Go to splashin.com Click “sign in” Click “forgot password” Enter your user name – this is your email address Click reset password An email will be sent to your email address Open the email and click the password reset link. Follow instructions to reset your password.
  • How do I change or update my payment information?
    Go to splashin.com and log in to your online profile Click “Change Payment Method” Fill out the form: Choose payment method: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Name on card Card number Expiry month and year CVC/CVV Code: For Visa, Mastercard and Discover, it’s a 3 digit code on the back of your card. For American Express, it’s a 4 digit code on the front of your AMEX card) Click “Save Edits”
